Welcome to the Melbourne Gun Club...

The Melbourne Gun Club is located in the picturesque Yarra Valley, one and a half hours drive east of Melbourne CBD, in Victoria, Australia.  We are open on Wednesday and Saturday for practice.  See our Shoot Program for competition dates and times.

The Melbourne Gun Club is one of the biggest and best equipped clay target shooting clubs in Australasia.  We have facilities to conduct competitions in International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) and Australian Clay Target Association (ACTA) disciplines.

The Melbourne Field & Game Branch conducts a simulated field event each month.  Please check our Shoot Program page for the latest updates and competition calendar.

Come & Try Days

At 9:00 on the first Saturday of each month the Melbourne Gun Club conducts Come & Try sessions.

You will be coached and supervised by experienced members of the Club who are keen to make sure your time with us is enjoyable and rewarding.

Come along and "break" a few targets!
 
Clay target shooting is a true family sport where all can participate, meet new friends and have fun together.

No matter whether you are male or female, young or old, you will find clay target shooting to be a wonderful sport quite different to what you may expect.
