The
Melbourne Gun Club is located in the picturesque Yarra Valley,
one and a half hours drive east of Melbourne CBD, in Victoria, Australia. The
Yarra Valley, with stunning views, a host of diverse tourist attractions
and some of the finest wines in Australia, has much to offer the
visitor and the wine lover alike.
With the valley boasting elegant accommodation venues, gourmet restaurants,
spectacular nature reserves, scenic lookouts and a world-class wildlife sanctuary, why not combine your clay target shooting with a weekend
enjoying the Yarra Valley's tranquil lifestyle.

We have two trench, eight DTL, and seven skeet ranges (including ISSF)
together with a Five Stand
Sporting Clay layout. Our Field and Game Branch conducts a simulated field
event each month..
There
are no strangers in clay target shooting,
just friends we have not yet met.

On the first Saturday of each month at 9am, the Melbourne Gun Club conducts "Come and Try" sessions for those interested in trying this great sport. To participate you must be over the age of 12 years.
You will be coached and supervised by experienced members of the Club who are keen to make sure your time with us is enjoyable and rewarding. So come along and "break" a few targets!
Bookings are essential and fees of $50 for adults and $15 for Juniors (12-17yrs) apply. For groups of five or more a deposit of 50% is required. Bookings are limited to 35 each month. If your preferred month is booked out you will be advised of an alternative date.

Clay target shooting is a true family sport where all can
participate, meet new friends and have fun together.
No matter whether you are male or female or young or old, you will find clay
target shooting to be a wonderful sport quite different to
what you may expect.
Unlike many other
sports, there are very few physical limitations to participating. Clay target shooting is addictive, fun and challenging.
Once you attend just one shoot you will realize what you
have been missing. This is a great sport, and lots of fun. |
